Blue Mountain

In general, mountains have been a source of inspiration, awe, and adventure for humans for centuries. They offer stunning natural beauty, a challenging environment for outdoor enthusiasts, and a sense of accomplishment for those who reach the summit. Blue Mountains are no exception, they are known for their beautiful blue haze that covers the mountain range, this blue coloration is caused by the presence of Eucalyptus trees that release oil vapor into the air which scatter the blue light of the sun, giving the mountains a bluish appearance.

Many Blue Mountains are popular tourist destinations and offer a wide range of activities such as hiking, skiing, rock climbing, camping, and sightseeing. The mountainous terrain and diverse ecosystems also provide important habitats for a wide variety of plant and animal species, some of which are found nowhere else on Earth.

The Blue Mountains are also rich in cultural and historical significance. Many indigenous cultures have lived in and around the mountains for thousands of years, and their stories and traditions are still an important part of the mountain's identity. The Blue Mountains also have played a role in the history of the countries where they are located, with many battles fought on their slopes and passes, and have been the site of many scientific discoveries.

In short, Blue Mountains are a natural wonder that offer a wide range of experiences and opportunities for adventure, education, and inspiration. They are a valuable resource for their natural beauty, ecological diversity, and cultural heritage, and should be respected, protected and enjoyed by generations to come.

The Fog

The fog is a mysterious and deadly force that has appeared in the coastal town of Kingsmouth, New England. It arrived without warning, creeping in and out, bringing death and destruction in its wake. The origins of the fog are unknown, with various theories circulating among the townsfolk. Some believe it to be a bio-chemical weapon being tested by the government, while others see it as divine punishment for the town's hidden sins. The Wabanaki tribe, an indigenous group with a long history in the area, believe the fog is the tool of a hidden malevolence in Solomon County, and that hope lies in an ancient warding circle that has protected the area for centuries.

The fog followed the return of a lost fishing vessel, the Lady Margaret, and its crew had a story to tell of a graveyard of ships and a red seaweed cloaca that birthed the fog. The fog did not stay long, but it left behind a trail of death and destruction. Cars sat running, dinners cooled, and playground roundabouts spun empty as the people calmly walked into the cold water. The fog wrapped around the island, and fog and silence held illimitable dominion over all.

A scant few souls escaped the fog by chance. On trembling feet, they stepped out and saw their town turned into a nightmare painting - an un-still life in waterlogged meat. In the empty streets, silence turned to sobs, sobs to shrieks. Those who vanished with the fog returned as the shambling dead. Some of the living stood transfixed by the rotting stench, as their loved ones tore them to pieces.

Though the generations and fast food dilutes you, some of your species still have a spark of instinct. Some survived, fortified, showed ingenuity, and became cold killers of the undead. But as much as they fight back, there is no escape, not by land, air, or sea. The fog chokes all who try to leave - electronics failure...inevitable - nervous system failure...inevitable - suffocation...inevitable. Flight is impossible. Fight is possible. For a while.

The island is deaf and blind. The world outside no longer exists. We now gaze at this wondrous petri dish, a vertical slice of isolated humanity. What will it breed? The only variable is you, sweetling, those with the anima to walk here by the Agartha paths. What will you do?

The Fog is a deadly force that appeared in the town of Kingsmouth, New England, causing death and destruction. Its origins are unknown, but various theories exist, including that it is a bio-chemical weapon or divine punishment. There is no escape from the fog, and those who try to leave will suffer from electronics failure, nervous system failure and suffocation. The island is now isolated from the rest of the world, and the fate of its inhabitants is uncertain. The only hope for survival lies in the ancient Wabanaki warding circle, but its effectiveness is unknown.
